Our traditional Bangladeshi mango pickle is made from raw green mangoes marinated in mustard oil and a blend of authentic spices. This pickle captures the essence of Bangladeshi culinary tradition.

  • Fenugreek Seeds

Preparation Process

1. Fresh raw mangoes are cleaned and cut into pieces.
2. Marinated with turmeric and salt for 24 hours.
3. Mixed with freshly ground spices and mustard oil.
4. Sun-dried for 3-4 days for natural fermentation.
5. Packed in hygienic containers.

Best Served With

Perfect with plain rice, paratha, roti, khichuri, or as a side with any traditional Bangladeshi meal. Also great with sandwiches and burgers.

  1. Selection: We hand-pick the best seasonal mangoes from local orchards in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
  2. The Solar Cure: Instead of using chemical heat, we spread our sliced mangoes on large trays under the Sylheti sun. This naturally removes moisture while concentrating the natural sugars.
  3. Mustard Oil Infusion: Once dried, we submerge the mangoes in pure, pungent mustard oil mixed with our secret family spice blend.
  4. Patience: We let the jars sit and "mature." Like a fine wine, a good Bangladeshi pickle needs time for the spices to penetrate deep into the fruit.
